Hello all,

In lieu of (or, even, in addition to, depending on if someone else steps up to lead that ride) the Regular's ride from Pizza Luce, Mojo Willy and I are going to be leading a test run of the Rattle My Bones II Saturday Big Ride on Sunday, August 3rd, leaving the Square Peg Restaurant, 2021 E Hennepin Ave, #190, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55413, at 12:00 p.m.

This is primarily a training run for those blockers who wish to have a little more experience under their belts. If you wish to join, certainly feel free to do so. However, you ought to be attentive to good group riding etiquette and to allow the blockers and other ride staff to do their thing without interfering.

Please show up with gas tanks full as we will not be stopping for an hour after we start. We will be leaving at noon, so be sure to arrive earlier if you want to have breakfast before we leave.

This is a long ride - you might want to bring bottled water with you.

Hey Bob,

I replaced something back in 2005 or 2006 over at Scooterville - I believe it was the rectifier. It was located just behind the battery. I read at a Bajaj use-group site that it might be the voltage regulator or another thing that I can't recall right now (that isn't the rectifier - coil?).

Are you running the original regulator/rectifier? We've needed to replace most of the 2002 units eventually.

Hello,

The old Bajaj engine is running fine. However, I am getting no electrics with or without the battery and with or without the engine running (and all iterations therein). I've removed every bulb on the thing and still get nothing. I've tried three separate fuses and still get nothing. When I look at the wiring, there does not appear to be anything obvious out of whack.

Any constructive advice?
