I hear you're only available for short subjects.

No, it's worse than porn, it's a pilot for a fantasy television series. In this case, though, "fantasy" implies "swords and armor" as opposed to "whips and leather". |

Here's a copy of the press release:
For: Motovino Wine Company, 275 Peters St., Suite B, Atlanta, GA 30313
Contact: Wynn Pennington, (404)702-1015
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BROTHERS FOR CHARITY – WYNN PENNINGTON, TY PENNINGTON’S BROTHER, “RALLY’S” TO RAISE MONEY FOR KIDS CHARITIES
Atlanta, GA, May 12, 2006 – In keeping with the family tradition started by his brother Ty Pennington, Wynn Pennington, owner of Motovino Wine Company, has created Food and Wine Scooter Rally’s in major cities around the country to benefit children’s charities. The first one is scheduled in Minneapolis/ St. Paul on Saturday, May 13th and benefits the WineFest, a fundraiser for the University Pediatric Hospital in Minneapolis. The rally will start in Stillwater at Sutlers Wine Shop and from there go to 3 prominent restaurants in the twin cities area to graze on dishes specially prepared by talented chefs. The rally will then continue to an outdoor party at SoloVino wine shop in St. Paul, with wine and beer tasting, and more gourmet dishes prepared by Zanders Café. Costume and scooter contests will begin, with prizes for “Best Dressed Scooter”, “Best Vintage Scooter”, etc.
“Selling my wines around the country has introduced me to great wine retailers and restaurateurs in the major cities in the U.S. Combine my passion for food and wine, scooters, and a desire to sponsor unique benefits for children’s charities, with these new restaurant and wine retailer relationships, and the idea for restaurant–grazing scooter rally’s just made sense. Who doesn’t want to help out kids by enjoying gourmet foods and riding on a scooter?”
Other restaurant-grazing scooter rally’s are already scheduled for cities in Florida and in Atlanta, GA. “I am scheduling these scooter rallys across the country. Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, and Massachusetts are all being scheduled right now, and I want to keep scheduling them until every state in the country has one. These will be annual events and will continue to grow and generate money for children’s charities.”
The rally starts at 11:00 a.m., and the after-party runs until 4:00 on May 13th, 2006. Tickets to the event are $25 in advance, $30 day on the day of the event, and can be purchased at Scooterville scooter shop in Minneapolis (612-331-7266), Sutlers Fine Wines in Stillwater (651-439-3399), and SoloVinoWines in St. Paul (651-602-9515), major credit cards accepted at all 3. Complementary food, beer, and wine tastes (courtesy of Zanders Café, Summit Brewery, and Motovino Wine Company) at the party for the first hour to all paid attendees (by-the-plate/glass sales after the first hour). Each rally attendee will get discount cards to be used on a later date at each restaurant and wine shop. If you don’t have a scooter and want to attend it’s okay. Bicycles, and cars are welcome, no motorcycles please. For more info call (404)702-1015. |

I was trying to decide between the 'guzzi, ducati, aprilia, laverda, benelli, gilera, or parillia but it's good to know they would prefer I take my caddy escalade instead... |

I'd love to come but I'm still desperately putting my miles on the engine. If I get enough in, I'll be there (and pay the day of suckers fee). What's the best route from MSP? I've never scooted to Stillwater before. |

You should be just fine. It's not a rip roaring speedfest. If you do have the new kit bedded in nicely you can fly out on Hwy 36. We'll probably do a backroad trip from Scooterville at 9am Saturday. How many miles on the Pinasco set-up so far? |

Only about 80. Busy busy. Hoping to get a lot of good time in this weekend if the weather is nice. I'd be up for meeting at scooterville and riding out from there. |
