wow. 60 years of scootering evolution leads up to a soft-core scooter video full of girls girls girls. Is this a scooter marketing campaign or a suicide girls video? Oh, there aren't any visible tattoos... must be marketing. Enjoy.

WOW! I really liked the Gently unwind video. I didn't know Vespa did softcore.

I've heard that Italy has a problem with it's young eligible bachelor's refusing to move out of their homes, away from their mamas - this explains the lip-stick lesbian angle.

I'm disappointed that the whole thing is so hokey. It's production values certainly can't explain why Vespa prices are high compared to other similar bikes.

Eh, Suicide Girls is nothing but marketing, too. It's not actually owned by a woman, for instance.

Who exactly is the target market for this ad? It sure doesn't hold back for fear of being blatant. I didn't actually get a look at the scooter in any of the videos. Could have been a Spree for all the information in the message.

Downward spiral? What are you talking about? That's the best scooter advertisement since quadrophenia!

0% financing, hubba hubba!

I thnk it would have fit the ad's tone better if they would have written it like this.
00% financing

Call me married and boring, but I wish the titles had had more to do with the actual scooter in question - clearly they're playing on double-entendre, but at no point is the scooter anything other than a prop, completely inanimate and insignificant. There were a lot of clever things they could have done with this theme rather than just making it male-fantasy lesbian softcore. Honestly, even a cliché "you and your scooter are in a relationship" would have been more appropriate.

And it's not like the Brits (this is a British ad, after all) don't have plenty of readily-available softcore porn - Page 3 girls, for instance, which are "enjoyed" on the subway by men in suits....

Yeah Tom's got it right.... objectifying those scooters is just wrong. Does anyone think of how demeaning it is for those poor scooters to have to sit under hot studio lights being photographed as nothing more than props - objects - not the living, breathing fusions of metal and art that they are?
