Hello all,
Here are your City Ride leaders. I wanted to be sure I wasn't forgetting anyone. If I don't have you listed here, please let me know.

The route is about 55 miles. We will be running 25 to 30 mph (I know I said 20 to 25 earlier, but I've had a change of mind - this should not present a problem for most folks). There are a few places where the speed limit is 40 mph - I will probably ride about 35 mph on those sections so we don't piss car drivers off too badly. Those segments are relatively short, so I don't think we will have too much trouble.
I stole the route largely from Matt, so any peeing of pants due to the awesomeness of the route and ride is to be blamed on Matt. |

Alrighty, then.
I guess this is THE Deja Du ride.
Departure will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday from Yarusso's (rather than 11:15 a.m. as posted previsouly).
The ride staff have decided to do separate fuel and lunch stops. The fuel stop will likely occur earlier while the lunch stop will happen toward the end of the ride. Psycho Suzi's was suggested. I spoke with the manager there and he thought it could be done with minimal fuss. Barring any death threats, I will likely confirm with Psycho Suzi's tomorrow.
We have pretty much hammered out the route with the exception of one short segment which will be easy to re-wire once we know what the deal is. |

So, am I including Jeremy and Moses as blockers? Anyone else? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? |

Not sure yet now. I've been swamped at work today, so I haven't talked to Lisa yet. |

The No Direction Home: Deja Du Rally route for Saturday, August 12th, is final. It is approximately 55 miles and runs through both downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis.
Breakfast and registration at Yarusso's, 635 Payne Avenue, St. Paul, begin at 9:00 a.m. In addition to arriving with a full tank of fuel, please bring water and sunscreen with you.
Please review the group riding guidelines.
We will depart Yarusso's at 11:00 a.m.
We will stop for fuel somewhere midway through the ride.
We will stop at Psycho Suzi's, 2519 Marshall St NE, Minneapolis, for lunch, likely around 1:00 p.m.
We will end at Scooterville for Gymkhana Festivus. "Festivus is for the rest of us." |
