You may not want a used helmet... Although they never go bad per se, you really should get a new one. If cost is a concern you may want to check out northern tool http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200015824_200015824 This helmet is DOT approved and personally I like it. Just my 2 cents...

NO that is junk. Go to a real Motorcyle shop or Scooterville and get a FULL face helmet. Why be cheap with your brain...unless......

What the hell you getting all goofy for. You suggested a freaking go cart helmet for $30. Thats bad advice. I think anything less than a full face REAL helmet is for people who may not use their brain enoughh to care about it. So yeah go ahead and wear a bicycle helmet.

Well now everyone knows the damage that helmet did to Matty so beware.

Matt is the Poster child for go-cart helmets.

Well maybe the best advice is simply an iron mask. That way everyone will see sparks flying and know you hit the ground!

I wear a 3/4 helmet - I figure it'll protect my brain, which is what I need to make a living, and probably my eyes. If it rips my jaw off I'll finally shut the fuck up, and that'll make a lot of people really happy.

If you like your jaw as much as you like your brain, a full face is the only way to go.
