The movie that I worked on (and that Lisa and her kids were extras in) the first half of this year has a website and a trailer!

http://www.midnight-film.com

Check it out!

For the love of all that's holy, why do people still use quicktime!

Well I suppose they had to do something with the leftover sets and costumes after they made Beastmaster...

There were no costumes in Beastmaster, there was just fur and grease.

Looks so awesome, I'm even willing to forgive the apple comment! I didn't think FFG could pull off something so polished.

if you worked in the film/video or production business, you would know the answer to that question.

he had told me he that he had worked on an indy fantasy film, but i didn't put it together with the one you were working on until i saw the trailer. cool beans.

it's great to see more and more films being made independently these days.

hehehe

yeah, but most "real computer nerds" hate apple, macs and quicktime. imo, macs are better for people that want to use computers to do creative work but don't really give a rats ass about the computers themselves. if you really like working on computers for their own sake, pcs seem to make the real computer nerds happy because they can f**k with them more.

i work on both macs and pcs at work, and imho, windows sucks major, major ass compared with the mac os, and the apple machines are many times more reliable than the pcs we've used. but then again, i don't give a crap about programming, gaming, buidling machines from scratch, hacking software, or any other real computer nerd stuff, so i'm a perfect apple customer.

but that doesn't mean that i'm not a nerd! i'm proud to be a nerd, a wierdo, a misfit, an outsider, a non-comformist, a freak, or whatever you want to call me.

viva la nerd.

Yeah, he's awesome. He plays a one-armed rebel leader. He has a sweet fight scene that people will love, especially one of his moves - I've never seen a move like that before. You'll see it this autumn.

I was hired as a set carpenter, but ended up being the studio's props managaer, making and obtaining props. I made that giant dragon-skull-type thing in the chapel scene, the carts, the skeletons, the torches, I was the pyro guy most of the time... It was a great deal of fun.
