Hey All

I'm new to the scooter scene, and I'm looking for some scooter friendly places to go too and hang out at. Not to mention, hopefully bumping into some other riders that are up for some general cruising around town.

So, could everyone list their favorite hangs and/or places that they have experienced some good scooter-karma?

Thanks,

Jeff the new guy

Uh, the rally this weekend?

Otherwise, go to the Regular's rides and the TNR rides as posted here.

Check out Betty's, just east of University on Hennepin. It's a motorcycle coffee shop, but very accepting of those of us with ten-inchers.

What about those of us with eight-inchers? Are you telling me that size does matter?

Why does everyone always talk about being accepted? Just a question.

He started it. I'm bummed because I have two inches less acceptance than he does.

And, can we really measure acceptance with a yard-stick?

I know I can measure my love with a six inch ruler, so, why not acceptance?

We accept all four inches of you, scootermonkey.

It's not. It's a rider's coffee shop.

The beauty of the DD is that it's right next to grumpy's NE and you can always tell your mom that you were there when she asks why your scooter was parked out front when she drove by (or left work depending on who you are).

Thanks all... I'm not sure that the double duece really counts as a good place to go on a scooter, but then again, I haven't tried to ride mine up those funky steps they have out front. But I have to admit that riding on stage would be a fun time!

Thanks for pointing out the TNR, I know I'll be there for a few in the near future. But I'll be at the Rally tonight and for the ride on Saturday.

I'll be the guy with the limited edition "I wanted a Stella, but they sold out and I couldn't wait for them to sort it all out, so I ended up with a" Silver Vino 125.
