Sadly, I won't be able to make tonight's TNR.
Derby practice starts tonight.
But I'd rather be riding with you guys rather than getting my ass handed to me at roller derby practice. I haven't skated all summer and need to toughen up for this year's season. :(
If you guys go for a beer, make sure to have one for me!
If you go to Betty's make sure to think of me when you order that grilled cheese!
Perhaps I will duck out of practice next week and go on a TNR ride. |

Where's the secret Rollergirls practice rink? We'll scoot by and give ya a "Trucker's Pull".

I love it when Michelle gets in front of a trucker's rig.

Said this in the Duluth thread, but for the TNR folks, here:
I've set up a google group for noise specifically about the TNR, join if you care to, ignore it if you don't. I'll be spamming it weekly with TNR stuff instead of having 20 "TNR Tonight" threads here.

You should be sure and let us know when your first match is so we can get a big cheering section together. |

the interleague teams (they play other teams from different states) have bouts on sept 16th, october 21st, november 11th, and dec 9th.
i however did not want to skate my ass off all summer and so did not join the interleague team. i wanted to enjoy OTHER forms of 2 wheeled (non vintage) transportation.
the MN league (4 teams) bouts are saturday jan 27th, saturday march 3rd, friday march 16th, and saturday april 28th.
all at roy wilkins auditorium 7:30 pm.
you can find out more info as well as buy *shit* at mnrollergirls.com
you can also find out where to buy tickets. there too many places to list here. |

But do these "other places" offer fancy fabrics (some even with scooters on them) and knitting supplies and all sorts of other cool crafty things AND offer classes to learn how to use them???? |
