Date: Saturday the 7th
Location: meet at Bruegger's Bagels (4953 Penn Ave S. in
Minneapolis) on the Northeast corner of 50th and Penn. Please arrive with a full tank of gas! Also, don't fill your belly on bagels since you'll want to save room for some of the best cheeseburgers in the Twin Cities.
Time: we will leave at 10:00 a.m.
Destination: Lions Tap in Eden Prairie for lunch, after which we will swing up and around Lake Minnetonka. We'll be scooting down some great roads, as the route I've laid out features some hills and lotsa curves!!! The fall colors should be at peak. We will be running speeds anywhere from 30-50 mph. Many of the roads are posted 40 or less.

What a lousy day to have an all day work inservice.
I am so jealous and I hope you all had a blast.

It was a blast. And we're not jealous of anyone who worked all day.

What a fabulous ride! Aside from a troublesome shifter, no technical troubles. Dave Marquis stayed inflated and upright through the entire trip (I know it doesn't sound like much of an accomplishement but we're talking about "Denver Dave" here....)
OK, Kevin, Michelle.... or is it too much like shooting fish in a barrel? |

We need to remember that frozen custard place for future rides. Damn, that was good stuff!

No Doubt! I had a great time. Now I gotta get a front shock and I should be set.

Naw, too smart for that. You were right about the shifter. I took the plastic guard off and there was a fair amount of slop down there. Tightened her up and road around Phalen a couple of times - everything seemed fine. |

That is good news! Messing with cables is never fun.
