I think so. I think even the old motors that get retrofitted with e-start are getting more rare. they just slap a bajaj/lml electric start in them a lot of the time. I think that semi-well done Honda Elite 150 motor in a largeframe vespa is done in Indonesia. I'm not 100%. correct me if I'm wrong. The one thing that they can't get new are frames so those are still often made from 2 trashed ones. Scary. I think the vietnamese expansion chambers are mostly JL knock offs like ScootrS's. But that little stubby one is almost unique.

Good point Matt!

It's clearly NOT stock.

Could be a Viet-bodge... or an Indian-bodge. It's hard to tell these days.

FRANKENSCOOTERS!

Everyone is selling Frankenscooters these days. Even Scooterworks takes supers, converts them to 10" and drops lndian engines in them. Then sells them as "Vintage" for 4k

Yikes. Look at that front trailing link on that SWs bodge... is that right? Is the spring too long? Also, the rear buddy seat platform is a nasty looking thing. It looks like the one Jeff got from Vietnam.

Frankenscooters just look messed up.

I picked up an original Stella seat and replaced the old solo seat and buddy seat with it. It made the bike look better and the ride is nicer too.

That's the good old fashioned "put a 10" wheel on it and super spring conversion." Some feel it prevents bottoming out without bodging the fender to fit a real 10" fork.
