Due to scooter withdrawall I've been riding to work for the last few days. Anybody else? Tom are you still riding?

Normally my Stella dosen't get much attention but today I don't think there wasn't a single head that didn't turn as I went by.

Misery/joy loves company!

Cheers

Yeah, I'm still riding, but not every day. It was icy for a while there, which was cramping my style, but now the roads are good again. I finally got an armored jacket, and that makes it a little less nerve-wracking to ride through the snow/ice...

Well, it turned out to be a bad day to ride to work yesterday as it started snowing hard mid afternoon. Riding home very slowly I managed to find some ice under the fresh snow and tip over. Slight damage to the front fender and right side legshield trim. The fresh layer of snow actually helped save some paint as it acted like a lubricant as the bike slid. Jeans, steel toed boots, heavy jacket and helmet took care of the rest.

No worries, though I actually feel a little more conected with my Stella now.

Sorry to hear it, glad you're okay and it wasn't any worse than it was. I was pretty glad I hadn't ridden to work yesterday when I saw the afternoon snow. Today, on the other hand, made for a beautiful, cold Cold Weather Challenge entry.

Thanks,

Yeah, I was thinking about going out today. It's -7 F and sunny here right now!

Tried starting the Bajaj last night, wouldn't fire up. I took that as Karma telling me to leave it in the garage.

I bet there were a few CWC entries today and maybe tomorrow AM though.

I rode two trips between the convention center and Scooterville last night at -10. It's only 4 miles and doesn't qualify for CWC entry.

Two trips? I'm guessing that you rode the Venox back to the shop. What was the other one?

I rode my bike to work today. (-18F) Does that count?

If you went at least 10 miles, yes.

Me, I'm kind of sick so I decided not to ride today - kind of sad, because today is likely to be the clincher for the CWC for whoever rides.

Dunno. I stole it from the TeamStrange website.
