CJ Most can cut that mending time in half (or better) using extra nutrients and mild PT. The good nutrition has no side effects and heals other parts as well

Maybe you are young and don't want it, but the following has worked for me personally and several others after hitting the pavement.

CRASH MEDICINE:

1) Vitamin C + bioflavanoids 1000 mg 2-3 times a day
2) Calcium-Mangnesium-trace mineral supplement (Kelp is good too) 2/day
3) Vitamin E (natural form) 400 iu daily
4) Flavored Cod Liver Oil (for Vitamins A and D) 1 tbsp/day
5) Joint Compound (Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM, Boswellia) 4/day
6) Mulit-Enzymes capsules 2 before each meal
7) Drink plenty of water (8 glasses a day)
8) Eat extra deep-green vegetables (spinich) good red meat eggs, liver, dairy, and colored fruits and vegetables. Avoid sugar, chemicals, trans fats and processed foods.

Ah, thanks for the kind words, all.

My scooter took a small beating, but it's not too bad. I don't mind the dings. I put it down in the alley about a year ago- the first day (wet night) I pulled it off my truck. So it's had a little character from the beginning. I wouldn't say I'm an experienced rider, but with 17XX miles on it, I'm pretty sure I feel a bit dumb for hitting that sand the way I did.

My shoulder seems to be OK, but that might be the vicodin talking.

And so, since I can't work, I have a summer vacation. But I'm definitely going to try to cut it short by following the good Dr. Mojo Willy's advice.

And yeah, I'll probably show up on Sundays for a little pizza and some wistful looks in the direction of your scooters...
