Has anyone ever successfully ordered on-line at Scomo.net?

This is my second attempt at ordering parts from Scomo.net and the part is all of a sudden on back order (for the last 2 months).

It might be folklore but a few people have.

I'd suggest http://www.scooterwest.com/

Call motorsport on the phone. They always help me when I'm in a pinch and most of the really great stuff isn't even on there site. Plus they rock.

I've always been happy with the service and speed at Scooter Parts Direct. Scooterworks has been slow but always came through for me. I considered ordering things from Scomo, but everything always showed up as "in stock" in the store, then "back ordered" in the shopping cart, so I decided not to go with them. If you call SPD and ask for Daņell, you'll get first rate service.

I gave up on one order that as "backordered" last summer. They never charged me or anything. About a month ago I was silly enough to try ordering again from them and what do you know... "backordered" but will be in stock in a few days to a week... a month ago right... Anyway, I prolly won't give it another try.

Scomo worked for me, but the shipping was expensive. It's irritatating when a shop sends me a small part FedEx or UPS for when they could have dropped it in the mail for a 1/4 of the price. Convienent for the shop, expensive for me.

Scomo takes like a day or 2 to return and email... Jeesh! I understand that scooter parts is prolly a slow business to run, but return an email that night or something......

On the other hand, Chelsa answered the phone herself and called me "hon," sort of like I was in a diner down south.

That worked for me, in a Marisa Tomei sort of way.
