Hey,

I'm going to be ordering some parts from scootRS. Since the shipping is kind of expensive I was wondering if anybody else would like to also place an order and we could each go in half on the shipping.

Cheers,
Tom

What are you getting? Honestly they don't really have anything worth the cheap prices. Once you pay shipping it's the same or more than getting here or from Germany.

Dude!

It's just scooter parts! How bad can they be?

Not everything has to be perfect.

Yes, I'm fine.

I have it on good authority that the scootRS stuff is nice... Mr. Lambretta told me.

I have found that scootRS stuff is hit or miss. For example, I wouldn't buy a complete bike from them. However, thier sheetmetal and some trim is actually pretty good IMO. I have repop series 2 front and rear fenders from them that you'd be hard pressed to tell from an original. I'm actually hoping somebody would get one of thier new series 2 legshields repops as I'm interested to see the quality. On thier webpage they state that they are pressed and welded rather than being just pressed as in the case of the originals.

Plus, plenty of the cannonball lammies were running scootRS front disk setups so they can't be all that bad.

In terms of what is available in Germany and Britian yeah it's great but not cheaper -- at least not with the current exchange rates. When parts are readily available from casa or WCLW they're the one's to go with but that's not always the case.

At any rate I wass going to get a series two legshield spare carrier (not available elsewhere) and a front disk kit. If anybody is interested PM me.
Tom

P.S. I've been to Vietnam and can tell you all about scooters there if you're interested but that's another story.
