What an amazing morning to ride to work, or wherever for that matter! I rode to a breakfast in Excelsior at 6:30 am, and from there to work in downtown Minneapolis - total of 30+ miles - and still too short.

Who else got to ride and enjoy the beautiful morning?

Joe

Yes, it feels like early autumn - Duluth Run weather. I hope it sticks around for a while.

Tom,

Is there a Duluth Run again this year? Is that an "open" ride?

Yup, weekend after Labor Day, four days - Friday through Monday. We'll be doing about 600 miles this year. Come on over to the TNR Google Group for more info.

I scoomute daily. Being as the freeway is usually backed up, I hop on the Vespa and take back roads to work--and it only takes me 10 minutes longer!

I had been wearing my mesh jacket this week, but switched back to my Roadcrafter jacket this morning. It was a little chilly.

Every day is Ride to Work day! And do they still run Gary Charpentier's blog?

Dunno, but I think I saw him today in Plymouth. He was honking and waving at me.
Seriously.

I didn't wave at him a few weeks ago- I was downshifting towards a stoplightlight as he was accellerating through it. I wondered if my slight nod was undetectable, and thus a couase of chagrin.

I met HeScootsSheScores on my ride this morning riding his new, slightly used, Black Buddy he named Wild Hog. This is also Mr. NumbThumb. Seemed like a really nice guy.

Joe

PS - Shouldn't scooters have female names?
