I laid the scooter down tonight, on the way home from the BLB show. Luckily, it was at only about 15mph. We were leaving a friend's house after walking her home, and decided to go down an alley. Big mistake. I normally never go down alleys at night unless it's my alley and I know where everything is. I don't know what happened, I must have hit a patch of sand or oil or something, because all of a suddenshe was sliding and tipping over.

Amy was on it with me, but she's okay. A little road-rash on her hands, but okay, which is all that matters.

The scooter is also okay. May need a new front fender and some legshield trim, but she seems to be mechanically sound. I'll bring it into Scooterville tomorrow and have them give it the once-over just to be sure.

I didn't even scratch the engine cowling! Maybe that's because my leg was in the way. Small wound on my knee, big one on my elbow.

I was out of ace bandages, so I used seven "Star Wars" bandaids meant for papercuts.

Pictures later.

It's in remarkably good shape. I just need to talk with Bob about getting a colormatched fender.
