relative to bare feet, yes. It's all relative now a days. Or maybe I'm thinking of ball bearings.

Do you supply protective gear for the people you're going to be riding around/into?

Well, a cup and flipflops would be my basic riding gear I guess.

This guy is totally safe riding. Shit he's surrounded by an invisible layer of MACHISMO. I mean come on that shirt boosts his macho points through the roof.

Drive in, I believe it was the Hurt Foundation who did those tests. I could be wrong but I think it was them as they did them in like 1980 or something.
Ya, that's the one with short snippets of the information published in magazines. Professor Harry Hurt (ironic pun) who was some university professor out west in granola land ( california). Wouldn't of remembered the name until you posted. Now I'll have to try and find a copy of the study if it's posted anywhere and I can find the name of it.
...and now that I found a summary of 'The Hurt Report', it doesn't look like the materials testing report I remember, but a detailed motorcycle accident analisys. Maybe the details I remember are buried in the main report. I do remember photos of them testing the materials on a test track with some gruesome results to the materials. Trying to find a full download of the report to satisfy my faded and jaded memory.

i thought the hurt foundation was a wrestling tag team from the 80's, who knew they did research also.
