Long shot but anyone selling an apple laptop, newer the better, intel version would be sweet, with Adobe CS2 even better. Newer loaded G4 would be fine too.

Isn't a new one around 1000? I'll admit that if you didn't know better, that lowest end macbook is a great buy. Small, good looking, Intel Duo Core. I just checked. Best Buy 1099.00

Did Brooke just do a pro mac post? wow.

We'd like used because it would more likely have some expensive software we need already installed. I have a hard time paying as much as the computer in programs I need to have, but use once a month.

If you plan to ever run Parallels, you'll want at least 2GB. If not, you need to up the memory to at least 1GB anyway. That's the problem with the base model, though it's not expensive to add memory.

I have a Macbook with 2GB of memory and Core 2 Duo CPUs sitting unused, locked in the cabinet over my desk. I'd love to sell it. Unfortunately, those U of MN property tags can be tricky to take off...

Those tags don't bother me that much!
