The FIFTH Annual All Italian Car & Motorcycle Show (AKA Wheels of Italy) occurs on August 26th, 2007 — 10am-4pm, at The Lake Calhoun Executive Center at 3033 Excelsior Blvd., Minneapolis, MN.

I plan to attend the show earlier in the afternoon with the intention of going to the Uptown Pizza Luce afterward for lunch.

Either Mojo Willie or I will lead a ride leaving Luce at 3:00 p.m. Accuweather says, "High: 82 °F RealFeel®: 80 °F. Mostly sunny and nice."

We are aware that this is an off-weekend for "official rides" but last weekend's Rattle My Bones, of course, took place.

After this weekend, Will and I hope to ramp up the regularly scheduled Luce rides for the rest of the season with the intent, next, year, of doing the same for the entire season.

We hope to see you there!

Has there been one where it hasn't rained?

That is your fault for not organizing it.

Love,
Chris

As far as I'm concerned, it's no big stretch to think of this thing as Wheels of Italians - this means I'm good with an Allstate, Bajaj, or Lambretta - oh, what the hell, I'm good with roller skates too.

Besides Lisa, you ought to show just for the nuts of it, Allstate and all.

Besides, we all know that Maserati, Lamborghini, and Ferrari owners have little dicks while scooter riders have big balls - as in hutspah.

I would love to to go anywhere outside my garage on any of my scooters - American badged/Italian made, plain old Italian, or American AND Italian badged Italian made. Unfortunately, it's big muscles not big balls I need to show up. None of them are in proper working order and I would be carrying or pushing them there.

Bring it on baby... An Allstate in an Italian bike badged and sold in the us as an Allstate. A Stella is an Indian bike badged and sold in the us as a stella. No doubt about it, Allstate = Italian Mario Andretti=Italian. Allstate=Cool Mario Andretti=Cool.

Love,
Chris

Although I do like the Statement "it's no big stretch to think of this thing as Wheels of Italians". I'm down with that even though I'm not at all Italian.

Love,
Chris

The place where Mario Andretti was born is now part of Croatia and formerly Yugoslavia. So is Croatian cool? Or is it where you start out? Or where your parents start out? Or where you spend most of your life? And would your equation be extensible? If allstate=cool and cushman=allstate then are golf carts cool? Or if Allstate=cool and Puch=allstate and Puch=Styer-Daimler-Puch and Styer=Magna and Magna=Canadian then is Canadian cool? I thought not. Screw them and their Tim Horton's!

Everything you said is in fact true and therefore cool. And fuck you if you don't like Tim Hortons.

Love,
Chris
