Whew! Made it. Empty pants. Half mile(max) walk to my house for the truck to go pick up the Lammy. Another great day for a ride.

Hey Bob,

Welcome to the club of the folks who walk away. I'm glad to hear you kept the rubber side down. Rochelle and I were shaking like leaves when the same happened to us at last year's Slaughterhouse - except your experience was frought with way more potential for drama.

It was great to see you today and to hear from you tonight, considering.

Take care,

Joe.

Thanks Joe. Wouldn't wish that experience on anyone. I really did not think I was going to keep the bike up. So much stuff runs through the mind in what might have lasted 8-10 seconds max. In hindsight I never thought about where my body might end up. I had good helmet but bad clothing.

Strangely, I remember you leaving Luce with a helmet on your nut and a t-shirt. I don't recall what you were wearing on the bottom half but I seem to recall it wasn't enough.

No lecture here, but I think it's weird I would recall such a thing considering it's only been in the last six months that I wear armor - although I wore shorts and ankle-high shoes today.

See you soon.

Sweet! Now I match Chris's shirt.

Bob--glad you kept 'er up. VERY glad you weren't hurt.

To anyone left behind: I apologize if I lost anyone on the Parkway. I didn't realize that one or two of you dropped back.

Fantastic day for a ride. Great weather, great company.

'Til next time,
-K

Damn Bob glad you made it out OK, blows aren't fun. I'm always surprised how many people stay up when it happens.

Well, Raymond and I chickened out because we'd be too slow and we were definitely underdressed/underprotected compared to most people.

It was fun meeting you guys!

We plan on getting jackets in the next week or so, so I hope to make it to the next outing. Thanks for the advice on where to shop for gear.

Lou.

Trust me--you wouldn't have been the slowest one. We did have three Lambrettas show up....
Not to mention that we pretty much did Parkways for most of the route.

Next time.

The vintage snob must point out that 2 of them were Servetas and one was a SIL, NOT Lambrettas thus totally not as cool.

Too bad "Ser Vetta" isn't spanish for "Lame Broken"

lol

cojo roto isn't nearly as catchy
and 'napkin' isn't funny either.

Did Mojo ever get that Brookspeed Lambretta/Servetta/SIL with the Honda drivetrain running?

Is it cool?

I think Serveta means "This scooter is a pile" Or I thought that's what Egans shirt said.

The Aero/LD is indeed super bodgerificly cool.
