Is this the end or only the beginning? Only time will tell. What we know for sure is that the clock on the wall sez it's time to go.
Scooterville is moving to it's new digs this weekend. Actually it's not quite a traditional move in the sense of clearing out of your Uptown apartment and getting your friends with pick-ups to stop by [i'll have beer...].
I've been approached by many who asked how they could help in the move. Here's how:
Most of the stuff is moved and we're down to rolling abot 100 bikes to the new place. No. Not a mass ride. that would be too much fun and require prepping that many scooters. More of a load and unload situation.
Friday, noon to 6 or so we'll try to do about 50 units. On Sunday we'll get the balance. Say 10 AM to whatever. Any or all are welcome and appreciated. Call me or say so here.
Thanks. |

Where, you ask??????
The new'ville is 904 19th Avenue South. Kinda Seward, kinda West Bank, kinda the old Easy Riders shop where Minnehaha, Cedar, and Franklin run together. |

Good he's finally moving out of the neighborhood, now maybe our property value will go up.
You should throw a huge party at the old location? |

I'll see if I can get off of work early on Friday. If so, I'll be there by noon.
I'll bring the Jeep. Would another trailer speed things up?

any chance of installing 50 yards of gravel to the parking lot at the new spot? just so we can have that same thrill when we scoot over. |

I always figured the gravel was there to generate some revenue when n00b riders wiped out their brand-new scoots on the way home. Or maybe to make sure that if they were going to dump it, they'd do it before they left the parking lot.
Honestly though, it was the big pits in the "road" that filled with water that I'm going to miss. |

Yes, it cost a fortune and a ton of political capital to get the city to rip up all the pavement going in to the old 'ville. But clearly well worth it. |

Available somewhere around 12:00-1:00.
Will bring pickup, trailer and straps.
Is this a dock load/unload, or just grade level? |

This rain looks pretty persistent. We may have to dodge a few storms. |
