So my battery died on my riding lawn mower, it was close to cranking over, but just wouldn't. So I pull the thing, go get a new one (it was indeed on it's last leg), drop it in, and now I'm getting nothing at all.
What could I be missing?
It's a 12 hp Murray with really, really simple wiring. I've checked every connection and even replaced the fuse.
I'm just at a total loss, and Murray provides no support or manuals or ANYTHING for products older than 2003. This mower is somewhere from the early to mid 90's.
I should have been looking for a manual specifically for the Briggs engine.
I have to admit that I was surprised when I searched for manuals on the Murray site and was greeted with this friendly note.
Please be advised:
--Murray products older than 2003 model year are no longer supported. This includes any paper or electronic manuals.
--Murray parts older than 1996 are no longer supported. This includes any paper or electronic parts lists.
--Active Outdoor Products (such as go-karts, sleds, mini-bikes, etc.) are no longer supported.
