Okay, so the TNR crowd has decided we're discontinuing the open ride format for this season. Now that Brad has a Baron, and we've seen how nicely it runs (and at a nice low price too!) several of us have decided to sell our Stellas and buy Barons. So it will now be the Tuesday Night Baron Ride. We might consider allowing other similar-quality scooters, such as the fine products by Tank and Schwinn, on our rides; but only after a thorough inspection to make sure they're comparable. |

I can vouch for the Schwinn, since I used to have one. |

I saw a great scoot for $499 at a Flying J in Iowa but didn't buy it for fear of shun and ridicule. Good to know there's none of that. |

You guys are such snobs.
In related news all the vintage guys bought their Stella's. Where do we buy "loud" oil? |

April Fools? I'm still showing up on the Baron for my first TNR ride. Have to run all the old gas out before it goes up for sale.
Kind of an interesting bike. The motor runs fine though it's a bit cold-blooded, the gas tank is under the floorboards so they seem high, neat looking after I pulled off the trunk, replaced the crappy mirrors and finally have the headset tightened. I was going to check the plug but it's under some plastic somewhere. No manual to speak of.
Does baron exist anymore? I haven't seen any adds in the Auto Trader recently.

Ok, to clarify.
TNR bought Barons.
Vintage bought Stellas.
What did the original Baron riders buy?
Or did they just sell? |
