I've got so many running scooters, one garage isn't big enough for them all. This way I get to spread the neglect around. I can only not ride one bike at a time... oh wait. |

I certainly understand that. Knocking on wood of course, we haven't had anybody injured on a ride since a certain somebody on a plastic-fantastic scoot threw himself on the pavement in front of the Methodist Church a couple years back though. I too value my personal safety, and informed a non-helmeted rider (who just happened to be the aforementioned pavement-eater) that I would leave him in the road if he crashed without a helmet.
It's a tough line to have a ride that's open to all, that also expects everybody to understand the rules of safe group riding and acceptable behavior.
I hear some asshat in one local ride (not the TNR) was going around smacking people's kill switches. If anybody pulled that shit to me they'd never ride with me again. |
