so i figured out what was eating my tire. Turns out it was the hardcore flange on the seam of Pinasco exhaust that was rubbing on my tire. It cut up my tire just like it cut up my hands when i bolted it on...So i took the angle grinder to it as little retribution.
So, i thought it would be good for yous guys to know in case anyone else decides to run pinasco exhaust w/ wide tires. Keep yer eyes peeled.
Egan!!!! feel the edge of yer tire and make sure this isn't happening to you!!!
(i think you're running zippy1's, right?) |

See, that's really funny, because I just changed my back tire AGAIN (second time in 13 days) today coming home from the beach. The first time it was a little tiny puncture, I'm not sure about this one yet. |

Josh interested in a real fat tire set up? I have a new kit with (I think) a 130/90 Zippy 1. You have to cut your swing arm, but it'll be bad ass... |

It's width and height, your zippy 1 is either about 90 or 100/90, so this one is like 30% fatter, thus 30% more badass.... |

i have the pirelli SL-26 that claim to be 3.50 X 10 but they're pretty wide...
but i suppose i could always go wider, and start whittling away at the swingarm...
