You have to give those guys credit. If you were involved in that game "Junkyard Wars" it would pay to have them on your side.
I just prefer to ride an Itailian designed original.
The asian bikes are totally re-engineered and designed with the "whatever you can find in the junk pile principal".
I know they are all over the place but every time I see one I am shocked. It is kind of fun to see what they do. It's different everytime! |

that is sweet. the automobile shock must have lost some rigidity when they cut the the top to fit and weld on to the fork so they had to put in some sort of reinforcement. That conrod must have been bad for it to be thrown into the "for other uses" pile and not put back in to an engine. |

I think they used the connecting rod to hold the brake back plate from turning when braking.
It's a modifed P series front fork with an older 10" hub/wheel assembly attached. I don't know how they did it. They must have cut up two hub units and combined them. Probably because they were both broke in opposite ways? I can only guess.
Who knows were they got that shock. Sure is shiny though!
It bogles my mind! |

Wow. I read about those tunnels in high school. Amazing and scary!
I would like to go to Vietnam - as a tourist! |
