Nice. My scoot's the only one with the front wheel pointed to the left. Why didn't anyone tell me? I'm so embarrassed...

:)

I'm probably going to wait until the last minute to decide if I'm going out tonight, not feeling well. Obviousy want to ride, but not if I'm not going to have fun.

That said, it's supposed to be somewhat self-guided, so someone will lead the gang. One would hope. :) And when I don't show up there tend to be pretty good turnouts...

An awesome ride, well kind of. We almost had a crash, of which I am happy to report that no stellas were injured, but is sure was funny. Josh almost got ran over by a black stella. It was reportedthat it was within a foot, but from where I was, it looked to be inches, Josh really could have been run over.... Nice tire squell and dodge!!!!!! Josh blew a tire later on and it got changed with the help of all that attended, but the ride desolved after that..... Let's try next time to be less problem prone.... Thanks guys!

an awesome ride indeed.
Im glad Robert was sick so he didn't witness my jackass-ness.
For the record... I did almost kill Ben. It was only slightly intentional. That LED spinner made me way jealous...besides, since when you trust ME to lead???
As for the tire. It went right quick with Ben being a human jack for me, ( I would have tried to sabotage me... ) only about 10 minutes. Thanks nate, dave and ben for turning around.. and thank that guy that i thought was Stephen but turned out to be Steven who has "to work" every day there is a ride.
Next week i'll be good... I PROMISE..

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX!!!!!!!!!!

Looked like you guys had a good group last night. As has been the case for most of the Tuesday night rides, the wife and I were playing tennis at the Harriet courts when the two stroke cloud came by.

I should hit hit my first 100 post-rebuild miles sometime this week so hopefully I can make it to the next one.

When we left the courts and finished the Harriet loop I noticed quite a bit of sand, gravel and dirt over on the east side of the lake. Is that where the wipeout occurred?

Well it was at the lights at Richfield road, I believe. Anywhoz, it was a more of a rear ending as josh went out into the intersection and it was a stale yellow and hit the brakes kinda hard and the black stella rider (unnamed) gunned it behind him and seriously lock the front brake up and swarved. I sware I saw smoke from the tire.....

I enjoyed the Tuesday ride. I showed up at the Harriet
Banshell parking lot, everyone meets at the stall marked
motorcycle parking. By 7:30 we had six scooters ready to
ride, 4 stellas, 1 small frame vespa and my Aprilia.

I mostly rode rear backup, the two strokes definitely clear
the bugs. There really is nothing sweeter than the stuccato
rat tat tat of following 4 stellas flying down the parkway.
This crew was like riding the sky in a Harry Potter adventure.

The near accident was memoriable, but on balance, the
black stella did a fantastic controlled brake and swerve.

We swung down the new downtown river drive, jumping
speed bumps and blasting our squeek horns under over
passes. Sorry I split after the flat tire. Hope to see you all
again.

I plan to be there! I'll probably be closer to 7:00 though, because I have dinner to fix for my wife and a baby daughter to feed before I come. See you there!

It was a perfect night for a ride, and we set off with four Stellas, a Vespa GT, a Vespa ET4, an Aprilia Scarabeo, and lest we have no vintage cred, a beautiful Lambretta. We had one casualty when the ET4 lost its will to run, but fortunately, with some quick locking and a 2-up Stella, we kept going. It was a very leisurely ride, especially compared with the very spirited ride of two weeks ago. Most amazingly though, we actually made it back to the bandshell!

Thanks guys, I had a great time.

Yeah, great night for a ride... I hope to be on one of these sometime where there are no 'mishaps, stalls, flat tires, etc...' and the group makes it back to the bandshell. Driving with a passenger on back of the stella was a new experience... It went well and all but I have to admit I really like flying solo.

Um... who's krypto lock do I have? Thank you, by the way. The ET4 is now resting comfortably in the garage. (birkenflickle!!) I believe a new battery is in order.

Krypto lock guy... how can I get this back to you?!?!? My cell is 612.703.9617 and I live in Richfield. Let me know & thanks again.

Oh yeah. That's my lock. If you plan to be on another Tuesday ride, you could bring it then. Or at Skooter Du. I'm not in any hurry to get it back. I got it in April and last night is the first time it was ever used.

I'll call you sometime today and we'll figure it out.
