...how was MHM all you lucky attendees?

I was hoping to go this year, but maybe I'll get to next year...

Let's hear the stories!

Mayhem was a blast!

Best parts:

Meeting scooter folk from everywhere
Speeding by traffic on the sidewalk to get to the mountain ride
Up the mountain
Down the mountain
Back to town on I-70
Bump starting my scooter in a prom dress
Finding new and interesting uses for duct tape
Defeating the terrorists who were determined to take away our freedom, happiness and Amy’s pink comb comb
Amy's new tattoos

Hardest parts:

Ignoring Egan (he snores)
Scrubbing duct tape residue off my navel

Most used phrases:

“Where is my _____________?”
“How do you get to ________?”

Funniest diagnosis to my scooter’s ailments:

“Maybe your battery is dead.”

(The guy's heart was in the right place, but he rode a Tupperware scooter)

Egan or Adrienne will have to post the best quote - I can't write in that accent.

All in all a great trip - The Denver folk were very welcoming and a heck of a lot of fun. I'll definitely be going back same time next year for the Amerivespa/Lammy Jammy.

I'll post a link to the photos when I get them up.

sweet! i was sad to miss it this year again...

my girlfriends parents live in colorado springs, so we're going to try and coordinate visiting them with MHM next year.

btw, sportique scooters has a new(er) location in colorado springs which we visited year before last. a very nice little scooter shop with nice people if you're ever out that way...

mayhem is no more....this was the last one. :(

Amerivespa and the Lammy Jammy are co-located there next year, same weekend though so I'm sure there will be similar fun.

I was happy with Sportique - lucky for me they stocked parts...needed a few bits and pieces while I was there.

This was the last Mayhem Morgan! But next year Amerivespa and the Lambretta Jamy will be there.

It was pretty fun, we did more sight seeing type stuff with the family than rally stuff though.

The quote from the guy at the truck stop (with your best redneck/hillbilly accent) "that there one of them cushmans?"

Um, no. it's a moped.

A safe bet is you can just look at what's happening here apply it to there.

We didn't go, we went to Pikes Pike instead. Which was a much better way to spend my birthday, taking the road to the top of the peak was awesome. Need to try it on a scoot sometime.

It was an incredibly organized and they were fabulous hosts. I think they said there were 400 scoots there at one point and they still conjured up enough sponsors to offer free food and beer for much of the weekend. I think they're just tired because it was so much work.

And just like we showed up there and were treated to a good time, folks will show up to Skooter Du realize that what happens on the BBS isn't representative of the feel of the event. We are going to have a BLAST!

Check it out...I used the quote feature! I'm so proud of my technical skills today!

I love having a scooter shop, but would someone buy it from me so I can go to a couple rallys?
