First of all, my apologies in advance. I have a feeling I will be posting about a million stupid quesitons before this project is over. I appreciate your help, and am sorry I'm such a moron.

It appears I have two carbs in this bag of crap that Brooke supplied with this scooter. Question is - how do I tell if they're good? Yes, I'm goign to email Brooke for his opinion on the carbs or their history if he doesn't happen to see this post, but I mean in general...How can you look at a carb and know if it is going to work or not, or can you? I have to admit, they kindof look the same to me, working or not. Aside from the gasket business, what else do I look for?

You know for a few hours today I actually thought I might make this go in the next week and a half. Now that is funny!

I miss Brooke....

Are they the same? Somewhere on, I think the top, it will give the carb size, either 19/19 or 16/16. What size engine is it? I know probably used to of been mine...

You rebuild it, make sure it's flat on the bottom, install it with new gaskets, and see if it runs. There are a few things that can be screwed up on a carb. Some you can live with, others you can't.

Uhh bob smallframe carbs don't have a flat bottom! I'll have to have Jeremy revert you back to "in training"

Whoops. In my zeal to make the magic # I really wasn't paying much attention to any of the threads. Now that I have my PERMIT I can be more attentive.
