So how many posts do I need to get licensed?

I picked up a Scootering magazine on my lunch break and they had a review of the Vespa GTS. I think I'm in love.. 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid cooled 250 twist-n-go with a chrome fender crest and rear flip-down rack standard. Top speed of 92 mph.

I'd probably have to take out a second morgage on my house to afford one, but way cool.

I could buy at least 2 Ninja's for the price of that! And the ninja will still be lighter, have a lower seat height, and faster!

But no matter how you rearrange the letters Ninja just won't spell vespa.

Fo what it's worth, I'm certainly no expert. However, as the owner of an 80cc Honda Elite, a 600cc Honda Silverwing, a 2002 Bajaj, a 62 Lambretta and a 63 Allstate, and having driven a 50cc Honda Metropolitan, a 2003 Stella, and a 250cc Honda Helix, I can categorically say that 200+cc scooters are pushing some indescribable envelope between "scooter" and "not scooter". I never knew what it meant to drive a scooter until I drove the Bajaj for the first time. I knew I was closer to the truth when I drove the Allstate and the Lambretta. I have wood when I drive the Bajaj but have certain knowledge that God exists when driving the Lambretta.

But hey, if you only had room for one in the garage...

plus it has the metal body and ABS.

and it's a Vespa with vespa parts and a vespa motor designed by Italian engineers.

Wo Hoo!

Wow!

Joe, I have to agree.

I'm glad I have played at least some role in your current state of satisfaction...

yep and we're usually a little more than over there. That equals like $5800 plus their prep and shipping charges plus how ever much more the US price will be. I bet it will be $7k or more out the door..
