Kids are buying me a jacket for my birthday. I've been trying them on and I can squeeze into a XXXL (HA!). I've been eyeballing some of the Joe Rocket and Cortech jackets with the liner. I kind of like the looks of this one on ebay. The seller said it was one of the Ballistic series jackets.

Ideas/thoughts?

If you can get it for 75 bucks or so, you should buy it. If less, great. If more, are you sure that you will receive it and that it is in the good shape that he represents it to be?
It, or any one like it, would be a good jacket for the Duluth ride. Have you considered a 3/4 length jacket?

Yeah, under $100 including shipping was about my limit. New one's are about $175

I like the 3/4's also, but would buy this one if the price was right.

I've always been a fan of the double-breasted pinstripe, myself.

Rats, I just took one to goodwill.

OK I mentioned the Corazzo last week. I finally got a chance to ride to work today and here are my impressions. I got an XL. The fit is good. Not too snug at the waist which I was kind of concerned about. The jacket length comes right to my belt line. The arm length is perfect. It's a bit stiff, it limits motion slightly but perhaps with wear that will go away. Absolutly no flapping or slapping in the wind like every other jacket I have ever had. The armor is subtle, you can't really tell it's there from the outside. The armor is in pockets on the inside and I have caught my fingers and thumbs on the elbow pockets while putting the jacket on a couple times. The stealth armor really make the jacket look good. Good protection and good looks, the design is sensible, I hate the crotch rocket, boy racer look that most other jackets have, this one is perfect. They make a cool armored hoodie sweatshirt too.

The jacket is warm. It was perfect this AM at 65 but will probably be a bit toasty on 90 degree days. There are four vents, two on the back and two under the arms.

The customer service at Corazzo was excellent.

The jacket was $220 including shipping

I personally think the Corazzo jackets are the best looking out there. A good combination of colors and a classic style.

Definitely on my xmas list this year.

I'm still a cheap bastard. I just won a Joe Rocket Ballistic on Ebay for $106 including shipping (a little longer than a 3/4, with a removable liner). Hopefully it looks as nice as the picture...

Now there's a POC pipe on Ebay that no one is bidding on. If the price is right, I might buy it and try welding a stinger on it to quiet it down (like Al Kolvites)

I'm getting jazzed for the Duluth Run!
