While I do so hate the Rennaissance Festival, it seems like it would be a fun ride down there. Plus "Villification Tennis" is pretty funny.

Anyone else interested?

Sounds like fun. When?

Are you going to make us dress up for the part?

The only good dates for Amy and me would be Sept 10-11 (which does conflict with the Duluth Run) or Sept 23-25.

Opinions?

I went Sunday. Pretty impressive, huh? HA! I'm the biggest dork ever.

It would be a great ride though.

Will it have the flying ostriches, dragons and lava pools?

You're such a dork.

Everybody knows it was a pterodactyl.

Okay, I'm just going to make a judgement call here and say Saturday, September 24. Meeting time and location to TBD.

Amy and I rode out there today. It's a nice, fast, simple route, avg speed about 40-45. It took 50 minutes from the West Calhoun Shopping Center (that Whole Foods and stuff, the starting point for the Skooter Du 2003 Saturday ride).

The Route:

Excelsior (west)
Eden Prairie Rd (south)
Pioneer Trail (west)
Audubon Rd (south)
Engler (west)
Chestnut/Hwy 41 (south)

Depending on what time we get there, we may be able to enter the grounds from the north, off Hwy 41. However, at a certain time, that road becomes a one-way OUT of the grounds. We may end up overshooting and going south on a (slowed down) 169 to get in.

And there's motorcycle parking close up to the front gate.

Saturday, September 24

West Calhoun Shopping Center
(between Excelsior Blvd and Lake St
at Market Plz, in the Whole Foods
parking lot)

Meet at 9:30am, Ride at 10am

Return time TBD

Also, I may have a few free ($17.95 value) admission tickets for fellow riders. First come first served. Private Message me to reserve.
