I think Bob Chanlund (sp?) has a couple of those new in crates as well. I know he has a bunch of bikes new in the crates and never opened or assembled. Jay Leno has been out to his place and bought a few bikes from him. Totally crazy!

I can't swing a dead cat in my garage without hitting some kind of aging east European motorcycle covered in cosmoline.

I love cosmoline!

That stuff is so cool! Really. It has a great history. It was developed during WWII to protect replacement parts for our military machines.

I was out at that vintage car place in Watertown a couple weeks ago and they had pallets of nos old car parts. Most of them where still in there original boxes. The interesting part was that the boxes themselves where completely covered in what looked like cosmoline! The whole box was dipped in it!

Cool! Mumified spart parts!
