Yipes... almost forgot. Thanks for the reminder.

I should be there, weather permitting... which, last time I heard, should be nice.

Frak. Couldn't make it because I couldn't stop sneezing. Stupid allergies. I can't wait for fall, when all this green stuff turns brown and dies. Then I can rake moldy leaves in my backyard and... *grumble*. Okay... Winter! I can't wait for winter...

me. nate. dave. newPX150 guy(sorry, forgot yer name again.)
jeremy and amy showed up but apparently decided the group wasn't worth sticking around for!!!
we did a speed trials route. Nate took the trophy with his new setup.
damn... that thing's fast as hell. i even test rode it. crazy.
rode out along the haha parkway to the river north, to lake st. bridge. down marshall past "a fine grind" to fairview. then under the freeway to pierce-butler...then east to "minneahaha ave.' (whatever; st. paul's version) to lex. then down to energy park drive. then 60 mph back toward the beautiful MINNEAPOLIS skyline. Through dinkytown, nate showed a guy on a crotch rocket what's-what on the hennepin bridge at 70 mph...cut thru the warehouse district, back thru lyn-lake. fun ride.
hopefully it cured some of my strep throat.

p.s.-i hope to see some "regulars" on the next "regulars ride." (for a change...)

p.p.s.-moses, you're a weiner. sneezy-puss. i'm sick as hell and i led that ride.

Yeah, yeah... *snork* I know... *sni-i-i-I-I-i-i-f-f* You da man... *ha-A-A-ack* *skronk!* I'm a wuss... *choo!* *snrik* :P

What really sucked was that I knew it was going to be one of those days the second I woke up this morning -- either that or the nighttime gnomes snuck a ten-pound weight into my sinus cavity while I was asleep. Allergy meds didn't do much, except maybe stave off the worst case scenario. It's been like this, on and off, for the past month. Some days are primo, other days are pure hell. Anyway, enough of that pity-party.

And you, bud, get well.

Hi Y'all,

Man I broke down on 94 on the way back to St. Paul. Not really broke down, but my throttle cable came off and the throttle slider came out of the linkage. SHIT! I got it put back together. I think it wasn't ajusted tight enough, so I agjusted it some more so there isn't any play left and I hope it it is finally fixed. What a pain in the ass trying to get my fat fingers in there trying to do any thing......

I take claritin on bad days, which usually does the trick, but lately... not.

Don't fret, they tend to clear up in the late evening, which gives me time to take the halogen-blessed Stella out for a spin. I *heart* that new headlight.

I WISH I were riding instead of working. True to my vintage-loving spirit, I own a house with just as much character as my scooter (in other words it needs fixing too). I'd prefer to fix the scooter and ride, but if I don't fix the house it will fall apart. So, all of you that get to choose the ride, enjoy it extra for me.
