At Betty's at 8 pm after the Tuesday night ride.
Come have a cup of joe and go over any last minute details. Come if you wish, otherwise we'll post any discussion. |

Here's a review from TripAdvisor.com on the motel we plan to stay at this weekend.
Duluth: Motel 6 Duluth: "Great value!"
March 25, 2005: A TripAdvisor Member, Dickinson, ND Check prices with:
I stayed at this hotel in: January, 2005
For the price, it was great! We stayed in a $70+ room the night before in Fargo, ND, and I actually liked this one better. It was the first weekend in March of 2005, and we paid just over $25 for the room! Plus, if people get into a fight with knives in the parking lot, the rooms closest to the drama get 25% off! Entertainment and savings! Things that make you hmm. |

Well, I *could* check and see if there are still rooms available at the Best Western... |

Is one review going to scare us off? well, for a weekend night peace of mind. Maybe? It would be another $20-$30 more at Best Western. Couldn't hurt?, but we should be fine. I think? (knee's chattering) |

think of the entertainment value of a knife fight... and the 25% off your room will give you scooter gas for at least a MONTH! :) |

1. I'm going to be so tired they could have the knife fight ON me and I wouldn't care. (Hint: earplugs)
2. Cheap, cheap, cheap
3. How could it NOT add to the great story we're going to have?
I'm good with the scary hotel, fight club headquarters be damned. |

I wasn't trying to make anyone feel ill at ease by posting the "knife fight" review, but after the discussion of scooter security last night I thought I'd look into the area a bit.
Personally, I'm not concerned over our personal safety, seven or eight people together are seldom targets for crime. Our scooters on the other hand, well, none of us want them stolen or vandalized. I'm okay staying at the Motel 6, but also have no objections if folks wanted to go a little more upscale either. |

no problem, the knife fight review actually got me to chuckle along with the discount on the room because of it. I don't mind staying at the motol 6. Cheap is good. I would rather stay where the group is anyway. Scooter security is a concern, but we will make due. |
