I'd love to come next week, but I top out at like 27 mph. . . (downhill I have accasionally hit 30--I'll admit I need a bigger engine.)
Still its very tempting so consider yourselves warned.
The link to the map I found pages back is no longer active, where could I find that? |

Sorry, I'm in the midst of the Duluth run thing, but I'll get the tuesday maps back online next monday. Watch this space!
Also, 27 wouldn't generally be too horrid, we'd have to slow a bit for it, but I think it might be a fun challenge! |

It would depend entirely on who's leading. In the early part of the season, when Josh and jeremy were in the front, we had some very athletic rides. But as the summer's worn on and the crowd has tended away from the shifters and towards the twisters, we've been taking it quite a lot slower.
I think it would be possible, so long as it can actually reach 25 reasonably quickly... |

Sweet, if I can figure out a route there from St Paul I'll be there. |

Nope, quintet practice is starting up again. Have fun though. |

I'll be there if it's not raining. If it looks iffy I'm not sure. Looks like it should be cool, but dry. |

Nope, today's primary election day in Minneapolis and I'm actively campaigning for Cara Letofsky for city council in Ward 2. I'll be drinking and eagerly watching poll results. Have fun though - and if any of you live in ward 2, go vote for Cara! |

Would that be a brass quintet? If you ever need a trumpet player, let me know. I don't know how serious y'all are - I stopped performing about six years ago and am quite out of practice, but I got a bachelors degree from Lawrence Conservatory, and I've played with John Faddis, Al Vizutti and Branford Marsalis among others, and under the direction of Frederick Fennell and Leonard Slatkin among others. With a little work I could probably be useful again... |

You're way out of my league, I'm just a utility low brass (tuba, trombone and baritone) player. I played in college and in the St. Louis Park and Shoreview Northern Lights bands. This is just a 1 time a month practice and play 1 time a month at church for us former music majors. We were working on an origonal Luther arrangement of A Mighty Fortress tonight. It's one that I hadn't heard of before, that is too complicated for a congregation to sing. Includies demons from hades and all... |

Heh, I can guarantee that I'm not way out of anybody's league right now. It was one of those things where you play so much (it hit 14 hours a day 7 days a week at one point) that you burn out. So I took a couple years without playing at all, and I'm pretty ready to do some playing now...
But I'd rather be scooting! How was the Tuesday night Ride this week? I'll be there next week... |
