Hey folks,
I'm going to be in town for the weekend of the 23rd and would love to do a group ride if anyone's got something going. It would be keen if someone wanted to do a Skooter Du 6 "Country ride" redux as I wasn't able to tag along. Anyone feeling ambitious?
433, I have a patch to deliver to you. Let me know if we can rendezvous.
Joe. |

I should be around that weekend. What was the criteria for the country ride again? I could sustain 45-50 mph on a weatheratively (boh?!) calm day. Is that acceptable? |

Hey Jeff,
Are you willing to lead the run on Sunday if the weather cooperates? If so, let us know where and when to show and we can eat and go, go and eat, or just go. Your decision. Are there any cool places to stop and grab a bite along the route?

There looked like a few roadside cafes in a little village about halfway through - was that Afton? |

I should be available either day if you wanted to do that ride. We could make it longer and more fun too.. |

Renfest looks do-able for me at this moment. Sounds like a fun day. |

Longer and more fun. I'm looking forward to it. I see that 433 has plans for Ren Fest and I don't want to attrite that ride if folks are conflicted about which ride to choose. I wonder if it's possible to plan for Saturday, assuming weather cooperation, so folks can do the Ren Fest run on Sunday. I do not plan on doing the Ren Fest run. If everyone else planning on doing the Skooter Du run isn't going to do the Ren Fest run, than I guess it won't matter which day we do the Skooter Du run. Why don't the ones who plan to do the SD run weigh in with their choice of days... |

Well, I chose Saturday because a friend of mine from out of town will be there that day.
Go right ahead and have the ride on Saturday; there doesn't seem to be much interest in the Renfest ride right now. More rides = more choices! |

Executive decision time. How about we meet at Bryant Lake Bowl at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, have some breakfast and do the extended ride? Does this work for all interested? This way, anyone who wants to hit the Ren-Fest run on Saturday may do so and those interested in doing the 4:00 p.m. ride beginning at Betty's on Sunday afternoon can do that too.
Failing denial, I'll see you guys on Sunday.
Joe. |

There looks to be about a 60% chance of showers -I won't be riding tomorrow. 65 and wet pretty much blow.
However, I do plan on being at Bryant Lake Bowl at 10:00 if anyone wants to say hey.
433, where are you going to be tomorrow afternoon? I'd like to get that Slaughterhouse patch to you if possible. Let me know. |
