Brand New! 125cc smallframe engine with carb and exhaust. *BUT* the Sensation used a single cable method of shifting, so you'd have to figure out how to make it work. Easiest way is a 'suicide shifter' or figure oiut some sort of 'push-pull' system.
*OR* part it out. You can transfer most all the parts in to other (post '64) smallframes. Use the top end, 4 speed gear box, new carb, new exhaust, electronic ignition, etc. You would need a different bearing for the crank to fit in Vespa cases though.

$350 and no I won't help figure out how to make the shifter work!

I'll give you $50.00 for it if you help me figure out how to make it shift on a vintage Vespar.

I thought Stephen was working on a solution. And now that John is a welding fool I think someone would be able to fab something that would make Derrick cringe a lot quicker than I could!

Hi, I'm derrick. This is my horn. "tooooot"

I'm kidding. ;)

So what was the solution? I was thinking a second pully attached to the bottom of the engine at the pivot. The cables could go there and a rod straight back to actuate the system. The hard part would be construction so the rod and pulley would have the proper amount of "play". But that's always the problem isn't it.

I designed a rocker mechanism that would most likely work. It was a variation on the vintage design - not as pretty or simple.

Ed knew someone who could make it but I think they did not make it right or something. Stephen would know more about that.

I have never mentioned it before but people have taken credit for things I have told them. I could list a bunch of stuff but I don't think people would like it or care.
