Hey Bek, weren't you in some club BEFORE everyone else?

And while I'm passing out some (more) shit. Ya, that Wilker guy deserves some credit for this mess! Starting these sites and leaving us to battle it out! I guess we could start our own boards. Maybe I should.

Finally, my new favorite scooter qoute: "I ride alone!" Mark R. That is as exclusive as it gets!

Second favorite scooter qoute: "HAR HAR!" Jeremy L.

I will be leading the Afton ride, like I said and asked before, no one will lead or plan an alternate ride.

Exactly no help no more rallies...

Twice I've asked for someone to lead a "non big fast ride to Afton" for the slower bikes or those who just want to do a city run, and not one single person has offered.

I can only speak for myself, but when you asked me about leading a city ride, I didn't want to because I'm getting a Stella next month and was very excited when I heard about the Afton ride. Sure there's some neat places I'd like to go locally, but I really don't feel like "wasting" a new big boy scooter on staying in town on the biggest ride of the year.

As for vintage vs. new, I'll tell you exactly why I don't just go vintage: I don't have time to devote to yet another new project. I work 40 hours a week, am on the board of a local non-profit, run the largest sci-fi convention in the upper Midwest, and have movie parties in my back yard twice a month. If I had a vintage scoot, I'd want to learn everything about fixing it up, and I'd rather spend my time riding, not tinkering.

Doesn't mean I don't love vintage scooters - that's why I'm getting a Stella instead of an ET4. If people want to get a bunch of vintage scoots together and have a ride, I'll be there to take pictures! If people want to ride mint green Stellas in St. Cloud, go right ahead! If jocks want to ride double on Zumas yet call me "fag" for wearing a helmet on my Vino...well, that's my neighborhood.

Simmer down, you lickin' too hot, so
Simmer down, and you know soon you'll get dropped, so
Simmer down, can you hear what I say
Simmer down, that I'm still with you today
Simmer down, man you hear what I say
Long time people used to say
what sweet nanny goat a go run him belly, so
Simmer down, control your temper
Simmer down, for the battle will be hotter
Simmer down, and you won't get no supper
Simmer down, and you know bound to suffer
Simmer simmer simmer right down
Simmer down like you never did before
Simmer down, oh oh oh
Chicken merry, hawk deh near
and when him deh near you must beware, so
Simmer down, control your temper
Simmer down, for the battle will be hotter
Simmer down, and you won't get no supper
Simmer down, and you know bound to suffer
Simmer down, simmer simmer simmer right down
