Reading the posts made me think of it....Amy and I are totally ready to help out. Moving slowly forward on sponsorships. We're going to have a bunch by the next meeting though, you'll see!

Do you want the revised letter to post on your site? We just omitted the part about the concert, since we hadn't solidfied the schedule yet. Also increased the age a tiny bit to include all the folks who have aged a bit since your original event.

I'd be happy to do it at my house if you need a spot to meet.

generally, monday through thursday nights work well for me.

i'm copying egan and being busy this coming tuesday but knowing the group, we're probably not organized enough to meet that soon. besides, that's not enough time for lisa and i to have a bajillion sponsors, which we will have eventually. at least a bajillion.

I was actually hoping for an ipod out of the deal, but if there were a headless mac mini in there, I wouldn't cry either. Even a shuffle would be pretty cool.

I forgot:
nintendo
bang and olufsen
best buy

I haven't had an orange julius since I was 12. Now I'm craving one.

get gerber baby products to sponsor us too, and throw in some sippy cups.

or some nissan steel vacuum cups.

Or just go with gift certificates or coupons. Jeez, think outside the box a little.

I contacted microsoft and filled out the form to contact "corporate giving." I got an error on the page the first two attempts at submitting.

The orange julius people seemed nice though. Let's see if they come through with some cold orange goodness for us.

Did you know that international DQ (the company that owns OJ) is based in MN?

I did know that. I applied for an IT job there once upon a time. Topher used to do food photography, and his description of some sessions at DQ were absolutely hilarious.

My boredom at work = destruction of every thread on this board.
