After 20 minutes on a scooter in below freezing weather, your brains get numb anyway. Wouldn't want hat hair....

Try the car storage places. They may have a cheaper deal for motorcycles.

oh, and for spikehead: i've been putting in around 2k a season, mostly commuting 15+ miles a day through town with a couple out of town long distance trips thrown in whenever i can. i'm riding a '77 vespa rally 200 with a 2003 stock lml 150 engine installed.

I can't confidently recommend an electric vest then. I ran one on my sidecar rig but it was powered off the auto battery behind the hach seat. Grips may work though. Hell, the vest may work if you don't mind discharging the battery, and if your trip is short enough it should be fine since the battery isn't needed to start the Rally.

My Aprilia will just keep up with a vest and grips, but I'm not sure for how long. Maybe I'll find out tomorrow...

That's where my Aprilia lap covr came from. A bit nerdy, yes. But if I can ride vs. not ride, WTF do I care?

I'm looking for a place that will winter store my bike starting October 31. Scooter Works doesn't do this like Scooterville in MN does and they don't know anyone who does.

Is it worth my time to phone motorcycle dealers or does anyone have any ideas? I'm garaging the Bajaj in a ramp that is open to the elements and I'd like to get it into a heated facility if possible in order to save the $110.00 monthly I'm paying the garage.

Funny you should mention storage. I'm looking for some folks in need of storage to cover part of my shop space rent over the winter. I haven't looked at the numbers closely, but it should be in the neighborhood of $200 for the winter season. Most bike shops are $225 -$260.

The space is heated, dry and secure. Located near Stinson and East Hennepin. Call me if you're interested.

Huh, which building? I don't need it (have my own garage), but that's right by my house.
