I think it's too cold for them. Or too dark. It's so scary out there. WooooooooOOOOooooooo. I think I saw a ghost tonight.
(those are all dares!)
And riding at night makes it feel like you're going a LOT faster. Unfortunately, riding around the lakes at night means you can't see as many pretty people in skimpy outfits bouncing along the running paths.
You know, as motivation to get in shape. What did you think I meant?
And as long as this has digressed into the crude, we decided tonight that some time next summer we're going to have a TNR TNA ride and end it at a strip club. Heh. |

Hey, I just got back from Paris on Monday night and had too much jet lag to join y'all last night. But I'll be there next week as long as it isn't snowing. With three weeks of non-riding, my not-too-shabby 2800 miles in four months has become a rather dismal 2800 miles in five months - so I need to put on some more miles!
And now that I've got the halogen headlight installed and adjusted, I'm ready for some night riding. Next week! |

Anybody planning to go tonight? It's probably going to be a cold one... but I haven't been on a group ride since Sept. 20, so I'm probably up for it. |

I'm up to 2200 miles this year so far. Dismal but a personal record.
Next year I'm setting a goal of riding to work 100 times.
Have fun if you go out tonight. Bundle up and wear a scarf, it's cool. |

This is the perfect season to use my new favorite boy scout maxim, "Wearing cotton is just like being thermodynamically nude" |

Wife: Are you scootering tuesday?
Me: Is there snow on the ground?
So yeah I'll be there. I keep saying we're going to do the full loop, but we keep ending up at Betties. Playing it by ear, I guess. :) |

Well, my daughter currently has a temp. of 102.5 and an ear infection, and Kathy's been home with her all day, so I bet this will hurt my chances of going on the ride tonight. I'll see what I can do anyway...

Damn I wish my daughter had gotten sick tomorrow night. It was a beautiful ride home from work this evening, and though it was chilly, it wasn't painful. Hope you kids had a good ride... |
