I rode a Stella in Chicago with the 200cc engine a couple Fridays past. The swap is pretty much a plug-in with a Stella. Has the electric start. I was confined to streets, so I couldn't really tell what the end result would be.
it is a product of LML. They had a couple hundred 200cc cases left over from production they did for Vespar. Genuine had them built for import to the U.S. I forgot to ask, but I'd guess that it's a rotary valve. It'll be fun to compare a 200 vs. a kitted 150.
I'd be careful about purchasing any of the loud oil just yet. I've heard that it's still in development and the petro chemical lobbyists are keeping it from going to market. Oil companies have large quantities of "quiet" oil on the shelves. The loud oil is so revolutionary, it would render the quiet oil useless. Do you think they're going to let that happen?
What is being passed off as loud oil is really quiet oil with a loud oil additive. The molecular structure is not the same. DO NOT BE FOOLED! |
