Venues discussed so far include;

Thursday Night Unofficial pre-rally *Physco Suzi's (I'll see about some patio space possibly)

Friday Night *Elsies Bowl (bowling with parking lot registration if room is too much $money)

Saturday Morning *Square Peg (Same set-up as last year, registration eat, ect.)

Ride*Ride*Ride

Saturday Post Ride *Scooterville for 'burgs and Dogs, Gymkhana, general debauchery.

Saturday Evening Party *Grumpy's Downtown (if the Vikings are NOT in town, should know around april/may I think) Awards, DJ and shaking Bootay.

Sunday Morning *Yarusso Bros. Breakfast and waiting to follow those S.O.B.s somewhere.

Ride*Ride*Ride

Sunday Post Ride *Dubliner?, or...TBD.

Will Update as things are confirmed or denied.

As a back up we may be able to get Brits for free Saturday night, probably find out soon. Or maybe do that Thursday? We would have parking in the garage.

Psycho suzies was pretty fun, but I got ZERO support from Nick the manager there about sponsoring the rally. He was previously the man at grumpies downtown so he knew exactly who we were and said he'd think about sponsoring, but then ultimately blew me off. All I was asking for was a couple glasses and some tshirts and I guess it was too much.

To make a long story short I guess I wouldn't feel too much Loyalty to Psycho Suzy's. And since the rest of the venues are shaping up to be pretty much the same a little change here might be cool.

I know Nick can be kind of abrasive, I'll see what we can get out of them. The patio is pretty cool to use (no smoke etc.) but I'm not married to it, offer any ideas......

ps it is just an "unofficial" thing anyway

Egan -

I volunteered to help with venues but didn't make it to the meeting. I'd be happy to pitch in where needed.

I worked with Elsie's last year and they were all around accommodating. If you wish I can negotiate whatever we need there again. I kinda like the registration in the parking lot idea, if the weather cooperates.

Let me know how I can help

From what I hear, they've gotten burned by various people who have wanted sponsorship...they have given money, product, and other support and gotten crap back.

So maybe they need to be shown that we're different.

Sorry - "they" are Psycho Suzi's.

(I wasn't thinking quite properly after leaving 91 dergee Florida and getting stuck taking multiple flights back to 60 degree MN yesterday)

I thought we were going to do Yarussos on Saturday morning so that we have a head start on the ride, then Sunday at Square Peg.

If that's not the case, let me know so that I can get back to Yarussos.

Thanks!

Yes we doing Yarrussos Saturday and Square Peg on Sunday. I think they are talking about Thursday night, and Suzies isn't part of the plan at all now... Actually I have no idea what those guys are talking about, they are just posting to a really old message.

Thanks for the clarification.

Are those of you that are talking to the venues also asking if they'd be willing to donate a t-shirt or two or gift certificate for the raffle? That would be really nifty if you would.

Amy and I have stuff that we'll post regarding sponsorship (revised letter, list of sponsors, etc.) as soon as I can upload them to my lame website so that I can post a link.

If a rally site goes up, we can put them there.

Thanks!

Lisa
