And to turn this clusterfuck back toward scootering, has anybody put a CB on their scoot? Put in a CB and airhorns, and you can get that Mack truck feeling in a light, easy-to-ride package... |

I think the Scion Xb would be a better vehicle for that- a row of chrom airhonrs across the top of the hood would rock. Put onw some faux veritical stacks, and you're really making progress.
You could probably put a tow kit on it- I imagine there's not a lot of torque, but probably enough to pull a scooter.

Meanwhile, on topic, when you're picking up your cables and tubes and a new Corazzo jacket. You can buy your Rollergirl tickets for the next bout in early December. Or you can buy them elsewhere when you go to pick up your yarn. |

Sounds like a excellent idea for a new Special Edition Stella.... The Frightliner. Phil, are you listening? |

The MinnMax guys use CB's (OK, the radio in helmet gear). The airhorns have already been done also.
What we really need is a diesel scooter! It would take a hell of an upgear kit though. |

There was a custom built diesel motorcycle at Dulono's Bike Night a few years ago. Mojo Willy took some photos. Perhaps he can post them. I know little about the mechanics of such a thing but it was causing quite a stir. If it can be done with a motorcycle, I assume it can be done with a scooter. |

If this is the same one I've seen, it's diesel powered and hydraulically driven. No idea how good of a motorcycle it is, but a very cool engineering exercise. |
