It looks like winter is coming back. Last night I washed my scooter, filled it with fresh gas, dumped in a little sea foam, and put it away. I'm to much of a wimp to ride in the cold weather challenge (afraid of broken bones). It's very sad.
On a positive note, I'll probably start working on my project again. The GT guts are now in the 64 case with new bearings and everything appears to move properly. Sand blasters are on sale at Harbor Freight for $85 this week, so maybe I'll drag that old super body out of the attic soon.
For my scootering fix, I'll be following MMM Backroads Diary writer Gary Charpentier as he attempts to ride a Baron scooter to work, from West St. Paul to Plymouth, every day this winter. His blog is at:
No comments on his sanity, but I did say I'd send him a bottle of Jack in January if he was still riding.

Ya your right, Brad. I have about had it with the cold. I did manager to get out for a short ride in your neck of the woods on the way to Wally World up on Country Rd E. I froze my butt off on Sunday. I have soem Stabil to add to the tank and I am going to remove the battery this weekend to store inside where it is much, much warmer. Ok a little warm then outside as natural gas is going to be sky high.
