A former Chetak customer stopped by the other day with news of a Rabbit in PA. that was owned by her uncle (recently deceased) since new. She wanted to know how her aunt should market it.
We told her about classifieds in scoot.net, bbs, and minnescoota.

Brad you introduced me to the kids, but not the scooters! Darn! Man, I didn't know you had a collection. A Fuji Rabbit! Those are cool........If I wasn't a man burdened with house payments ect. I would try to get one of those myself.... :-)

OK, I know you didn't really believe that I own a Fuji Rabbit. But they are pretty neat.

True Story:

My crazy uncle has/had a motorized bicycle under a tarp in my grandparents basement (along with a huge collection of comic books). It has been there since I was little. My mom bought it for him in the late 40's early 50's. My dad thought it was a Whizzer, but I swear it said "Indian" on the gas tank when I used to peek at it.

The house burned last year. I still wonder what happened to that bike. It was still shiney the last time I saw it. He lives as a recluse and I haven't talked to him in ten years. I keep hoping.

Darn! I was going to ask you if I could touch it. :-) Those are really cool, being a japan freak, I really would like to get one. I bet parts are really hard to come by though.
