Who's going?
How many days?
Flying/driving?
Have space for person and scoot?
Need space for person and scoot?
I'm trying to make a plan, dammit. |

So it's only Matt, Trish and I that are interested in this event? |

Yes, that must be it. It can't possibly be that others who may be inclined to go either haven't decided yet, are waiting until closer to the event to check their finances, or perhaps don't obsessively check the board.
We're all just planning a convoy without you. |

I'm already planning to ride there even though I don't currently have a scooter. BUT I do have the fuel cell layout (for future P/Stella) already planned, as well as where to pack the camping gear as well as calculating how long it will take me to get there in 1 day.
Dammit.

Maybe in your world. The basic scooter time equation is to at least double how long it takes in a car. Denver is usually 15-19 hours, depending on route, that would equal 30-38 hours. That's if it's a Vespa/Stella type deal. If it's a People 250 or something then it souldn't be a problem, but then that would be lame. |

It's easy enough to fit that ride in a day, as long as you're willing to work outside of your classist, close-minded liberal, phallologocentric, right-wing nazi preconceptions of an "Earth day".
32 hours is only 1/5th of a day on pluto!
Or 1/182 of a day on Venus!
With that kind of forward thinking, if you were able to maintain an average speed of 10 mph (allowing time for naps, gas, and the occasional ocean fording) you could ride around earth (or venus, for that matter!) 7 times in a single day!
Down with planetary centrism! |
