Check out what I found all the way down here in Key West.

The southernmost Stella in the continental United States.

I couldn't find the owner, but it's clear he or she has good taste, since the scoot is grey.

One problem, however... Rust. The poor thing is already feeling the effects. The wheels are all brown and the floorboards are showing signs of rusting along the edges of the trim. All this sea salt can't be good for the poor thing.

Anyway, it's 77 degrees and sunny down here in Fort Myers. I have one more day to enjoy this weather before I return to the gray and goop of Minneapolis' winter. Cheers, y'all.

(Heh... is there a category above "licensed?" You and I, Derrick, could be there with this little argument ;) )

Am I the only person who hates people who go south in the winter & then tell us how warm it is?

Especially people with too many Stellas?

Just kiddin' Moses! I've been trying to get to Marco Island for a couple months now & things keep interfering. First it was Wilma. Now it's economics.

Moses. You should have told us that you rode there!

That would have been cool.

Ahhh.... warm... weather... So nice... Why, yes, waiter. I will have another froo-froo drink with a little paper umbrella in it. Thank you.

Well, don't worry about me enjoying myself too much. Karma got me. On the way back from KW, my stomach and I had a meeting of the minds on the boat over whether or not I should keep my dinner. I lost.

Moses -

You took the boat from Ft Myers to KW? Which one? How long did it take? Cost? Schedule? I'd like details of the trip, but not your over the rail episode.

I've considered the boat from Marco, but it isn't very convenient.

And, it's silver (the scoot not the facial hair).

It's called the AtlantiCat, a 35-knot catamaran-style passenger boat. One goes from Fort Myers and another from Marco Island. Cost? I think about 75 per person, round trip -- it was a gift from my (very nice) mother-in-law to Michelle and I. From Fort Myers, its just over three hours. Get there early to get a good window seat with a table if you want one. I'm sure there's some more specific info to Google on it somewhere... here ya go -- http://www.seakeywestexpress.com/default3.htm -- Watch out, there's audio on the site (steel drums, not too offensive).

Ummm... it's a bad attempt at a goat, with a few days growth on the side due to laziness, in a shadow.

And it's grey.

There has been a gray hair here and there, beard-side, too. Getting older, I think... Where am I? Who are you? What were we talking about? Where's my hearing aid? I remember, way back when, uphill, ten miles, in the snow, both ways... nap time...

I drove from Miami to Key West once and it was a miserable but pretty drive. I'm just hoping I see a Silver Stella in Maya Riviera when I'm there in February so I can post a picture with Rochelle next to it. I, at that point, win. Sad to say I still think like a 14 year old at times. If I should happen to see a Stella at the top of Chichen Itza and I post a picture, you all are required to pay homage to me by bowing down before me.

BTW, on an unrelated note, anyone got any tips for me on using Photoshop?

First one to get a pic of him or herself with a Stella at the bottom of Tierra del Fuego wins!!!

Yeah... don't.

*snicker*

Okay, seriously, now. What do you want to know?

Joe-
I found a can of touch-up that belongs to your All- State today during a New Years resolution purge. I'll set it aside for one year.
