We need volunteers to contact places for sponsorship. Please let us know if you have an “in” with any companies that may be open to supporting the rally.
If you were the contact person previously, please consider volunteering again this year. These companies sponsored us in the past but perhaps should be contacted for this year’s rally:
· American Scooter Center
· Bajaj
· Big Brain Comics
· CD Warehouse
· Dabble
· Dreamhaven
· Extreme Noise
· Midwest Cycle Supply
· Pizza Lucé
· Sportique
Will, were you planning on contacting Tatters again?
Ritchie’s down for Kieran’s/The Liffey/The Local
Egan’s our contact for Grumpy’s, Elsie’s, and were you going to do Betty’s Bikes and Buns as well?
Thanks for everyone’s help thus far! |

Was it Will whos talked to them more? I'll do it I just don't want to duplicate efforts. I'll also talk to the modern cafe, Dabble, Audubon Coffee, Pop!, and any other place I can think of. We should really get those scooter shops if possible. |

Amy and I are going to spend a day or two actually riding aroudn town on our scooters and talking to potential sponsors. It's easy to blow off an email or phone call but MUCH harder to say no when we're standing there.
When are the posters going to be done? Perhaps we could kill two birds with one stone. We woudl like to do this sooner rather than later though - I was hoping for next weekend 6/18 - 6/19 (Amy, does that work for you)? |

The posters won't be ready till mid July. We can make another trip to put them up, get the sponsors locked in now. |

I sent the specs to the patch people yesterday - along with a copy of the art (pulled from this site) as a guidline for pricing. I asked for pricing by Monday at the latest, but I'll follow up tomorrow if that helps. |

The patch probably won't just be a shrunk down version of the art you all have seen so far. That is really kind of a draft that Sean did to provide something for the contest. He is cooking up a seperate but similar design specifically for the patch and there will be refinements to the poster image and the simplified tshirt art as well. All of this will be basically ready for distribution by next week.
The patch you submitted should be OK for pricing though I would imagine.

I know somebody that could provide you with finished art this morning, if we need to meet an aggressive timetable... |

What is the lead time on the patches? Do they need 8 weeks to make some patches for real or are we just anxious to get prices? Urgency is nice but if we have to get second quote because the patch design is different then we just wasted a bunch of time. |

Looking to help if I can, but not having gone through this before, let me ask the most basic of basic questions...What is the expectation of a Skooter Du sponsor? |
